MEMORIAL DAY VIRTUAL TRIBUTE 2021 (click here)
2021 Virtual Memorial Day Program - The Orange County Cemetery District is proud to present the 2021 Memorial Day Tribute Program. Beginning Friday, May 28, 2021, you may click on the link above to open a compilation video produced by the Orange County Cemetery District. We thank all of the participants who sent in their recorded messages or songs. We look forward to gathering next year in person for the 2022 Memorial Day Program at each of our cemeteries.
We are hopeful that we can gather in person for festivities at Anaheim Cemetery and Santa Ana Cemetery. As the the event draws closer we will post more information as it is confirmed.
This event at El Toro Memorial Park is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. Again, as we monitor COVID-19 guidelines, we will post additional information here as the event is confirmed.
Located at El Toro Memorial Park, the Angel of Hope monument is a place for grieving parents to gather who have lost a child of any age, for any reason. Every December 6th, families gather for a candlelight vigil. The program features special guest speakers, poetic readings, and special music. Perhaps the most anticipated moment of the program comes when families are invited to speak their child's name and place white flowers at the base of the Angel of Hope Statue.
