Dia de los Muertos Celebration - Anaheim Cemetery

We are excited to announce that Anaheim Cemetery will once again be hosting a live Dia de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  The event will happen rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. 

Rev. Bill Cao from Saint Anthony Mary Claret Catholic Church will open the program with a short service honoring our departed loved ones.  Then the talented performers from Ballet Folklorico Donaji will take the stage for the evening's entertainment.  

While supplies last, guests will receive free small bouquets of marigolds for the decoration of gravesites or home ofrendas, free pan de muertos, and children will enjoy the free craft tables and facepainting!

Families are also welcome to build personal ofrendas on the gravesites of loved ones.  Decorations may be left beginning on Thursday, October 17th and must be removed by Tuesday, November 12th.  Any items remaining on gravesites on Wednesday, November 13th, will be discarded.  Please do not leave any items of monetary or sentimental value on gravesites as these items cannot be secured.  The use of candles with real flame is prohibited.
